New York State’s Export Marketing Assistance Service is designed to help businesses find sales agents

or distributors abroad. Once accepted, Global NY’s international offices will provide local expertise for the markets you select, conduct customized research and identify potential partners for your company abroad.

SBA Export Services

Did you know that nearly 96% of consumers live outside the United States, and two-thirds of the world’s purchasing power is in foreign countries? The SBA Export services provides trade tools and resources to tap into this opportunity.

EXIM Bank (Export and Import Bank)

The EXIM Bank is the official export credit agency of the United States, and supports American job creation through exporting by unlocking financing solutions for U.S. companies competing around the globe.

Department of Commerce

The Department of Commerce's U.S. Commercial Service engages trade professionals in over 100 U.S. cities and in more than 75 countries to help U.S. companies plan, develop, and execute international sales strategies, connect with foreign buyers, and increase sales to new global markets.

Global NY

Global NY helps New York businesses enter or expand their presence in the global marketplace.​

International Business Development (IBD)

The New York SBDC's International Business Development (IBD) program helps businesses maximize global trade opportunities. IBD provides guidance on identifying manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and representatives, as well as on joint ventures, outsourcing projects, market feasibility, customs, regulations, and tarrifs. They have also successfully organized business delegations and trade missions, and support NYS SBDC's office in Beijing, China.

Certificate of Free Sale

A Certificate of Free Sale is a document that indicates a particular product is marketed in the United States or is eligible for export, and that the particular manufacturer has no unresolved enforcement actions pending before or taken by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
